HANY MUKHTAR: “WE DESERVE NOTHING BUT VICTORIES — AND IT TAKES MORE THAN JUST TALENT TO STAY AT THE TOP”
NASHVILLE — Nashville SC star Hany Mukhtar has delivered a powerful two-part message to his teammates and the club’s supporters: maintaining their position at the summit requires more than just ability — and the only acceptable outcome is victory. Speaking after the team’s recent match, the 2022 MLS MVP laid out both the standards and the mindset needed to keep competing at the highest level.
“We have plenty of talent in this squad,” Mukhtar explained. “But talent alone won’t keep us where we want to be. We need discipline, unity, and that relentless drive in every single match. We deserve nothing but victories — and that means working for them every day.”
As Nashville’s all-time leading goalscorer and the heartbeat of the team, his words carry real weight. He made clear that the squad has the quality to succeed, but sustaining that success demands character and consistency just as much as skill. Mukhtar emphasized that every training session, every decision, and every individual effort must align toward one clear objective: delivering results for the fans who stand by the side of the team week after week.
His message suggests that for Nashville SC, progress is not just about potential — it is about performance. The team knows the competition is fierce, and staying at the top is a daily challenge. But Mukhtar’s belief is unwavering: this group has what it takes to build a genuine winning culture, provided they bring both the ability and the right attitude to every fixture.
There are already encouraging signs that this message is resonating within the squad. If that combination of ambition and resilience translates onto the pitch, Nashville SC look determined to turn high expectations into a consistent run of results — proving that they have both the quality and the commitment to remain contenders.
