Report: Hugo Bueno targeted by Fiorentina after good Wolves campaign
Fiorentina have emerged as suitors for Spanish left-back Hugo Bueno, with transfer pundit Matteo Moretto confirming that the Italian club is now in active negotiations with Wolverhampton Wanderers to secure his services. Interest has intensified following a strong run of performances for the defender during the latest campaign.
The 23‑year‑old has been part of the Wolves academy setup since joining in 2019, gradually progressing through the ranks before gaining valuable top‑flight experience on loan at Feyenoord in the Netherlands during the 2024‑25 season. Returning to Molineux this term, Bueno stepped up to claim a regular role, making 38 competitive appearances across all competitions and contributing one goal alongside two assists.
