HEARTS DEFENDER FRANKIE KENT ANNOUNCES PASSING OF BELOVED UNCLE
Heart of Midlothian centre-back Frankie Kent has today shared the deeply sad news that his beloved uncle has passed away, drawing an immediate wave of sympathy and support from the club, teammates, and supporters across Scotland and beyond.
The 29-year-old English defender, full name Frankie James Kent, has established himself as a reliable and commanding presence at the heart of the Hearts defence since joining the club. His football journey began in the youth ranks of Premier League giants Arsenal, where he developed his early technical and tactical foundations. In 2012, he moved to Colchester United to take up a two-year scholarship, marking the start of his professional pathway. He progressed through the Essex club’s system, making over 200 senior appearances before moving north to Tynecastle, where his consistency and leadership qualities have made him a key figure in the squad.
