During his tenure at Newcastle, Elliott played a pivotal role in the club’s return to finals football, contributing to 5th-place and 8th-place finishes in 2023 and 2024 respectively. He featured prominently in those playoff runs, showcasing his strong defensive capabilities and leadership in the middle. A standout moment came in 2024 when he scored two tries in a single match, highlighting his ability to impact games offensively as well as defensively. While the 2025 season saw the Knights struggle for form, Elliott remained a consistent presence until his departure, earning respect for his work ethic and resilience.
