THE 50-50 CHRISTMAS RAFFLE RETURNS WITH GUARANTEED $2,500 PRIZE
The Panthers Foundation has announced the return of its popular 50-50 Christmas Raffle, giving fans and community members the chance to win a guaranteed $2,500 cash prize while supporting vital local programs this festive season.
After a successful run earlier this year, the foundation is bringing back the beloved raffle just in time for Christmas, with all funds raised set to go towards its Education, Community and Participation Programs. These initiatives provide support for young people in Western Sydney, including school tutoring, sports participation grants for disadvantaged children, and community outreach projects that strengthen local neighbourhoods.
“The 50-50 Raffle has always been a fantastic way for our community to come together – not only for the chance to win a great prize, but to help us make a real difference in people’s lives,” said Panthers Foundation CEO Sarah Jones. “This Christmas, we wanted to give everyone an opportunity to get involved and support the programs that touch so many families in our region. The guaranteed $2,500 prize is our way of saying thank you for being part of our Panthers family.”
The 50-50 format means the winner takes home half of the total prize pool, with the other half going directly to the foundation’s programs. While the minimum prize is set at $2,500, organisers are hopeful strong ticket sales will see the winning amount grow significantly. Last year’s Christmas raffle raised more than $8,000, with the lucky winner walking away with $4,000 in cash.
The Christmas Raffle will be drawn at 3pm on Monday 22 December, giving winners plenty of time to use their prize for last-minute Christmas shopping or to start the new year with extra funds. The draw will take place at Panthers Leagues Club in Penrith, with the winner to be notified by phone and email within 24 hours. Results will also be posted on the Panthers Foundation website and social media channels.
