Moyes Confirms Ndiaye’s Fitness, Dismisses Transfer Speculation Ahead of Fulham Clash

David Moyes has delivered positive news for Everton fans, confirming that key forward Iliman Ndiaye is fit and available to start in their upcoming Premier League match against Fulham on Saturday.

Ndiaye, who was substituted during the second half of Monday’s draw against Sunderland, has fully recovered and participated in Friday’s training session. This news provides a significant boost to Moyes’ attacking options as Everton seeks to secure a vital victory.

“He’s fine. He’s trained (on Friday), so hopefully everything is okay,” Moyes told reporters during the pre-match press conference.

In addition to Ndiaye’s return, Moyes confirmed that Everton has no new injury concerns. While Jarrad Branthwaite (hamstring) and Nathan Patterson (hernia and foot) remain sidelined, the manager has a largely healthy squad to choose from for the Fulham encounter.

Moyes also addressed recent speculation surrounding Ndiaye’s long-term future at the club, firmly dismissing any suggestions of a potential transfer. The manager emphasized that Everton is committed to building a team around players like Ndiaye and has no intention of letting him leave.

“I don’t really see the speculation, probably because I’m not looking,” Moyes stated. “He’s got three-and-a-half years left on his deal here, maybe more, so it’s something we’re fully aware of.”

Moyes acknowledged that Ndiaye’s impressive form has inevitably attracted attention from other clubs but reiterated Everton’s desire to retain his services.

“He’s been playing really well and it’d be wrong for teams not to talk about him because of his form but, here at Everton, we’re building a team,” Moyes explained. “We want to build with players like Ili, so we’ve got no intention of letting him go – that’s for sure.”

With Ndiaye fit and available, and Moyes quashing transfer rumors, Everton can focus on the task at hand: securing a crucial victory against Fulham. The Toffees will be looking to capitalize on their home advantage and climb up the Premier League table.
