Kim Mulkey, LSU Women’s Basketball Officially Signs Coveted SEC Signee Meghan Yarnevich

 

BATON ROUGE, LA – LSU women’s basketball coach Kim Mulkey has added another star to her already impressive 2025 recruiting class. The Tigers have officially signed 6-foot-2 forward Meghan Yarnevich, bolstering their frontcourt with a highly touted prospect. This marks the fifth signee for LSU, solidifying their position as the nation’s top-ranked recruiting class.

Yarnevich, a four-star recruit ranked among the top 100 prospects by Prospects Nation, ASGR, and Dan Olson, brings a wealth of experience to the LSU program. Her high school career at the Bullis School culminated in multiple appearances in state semifinals, including a Maryland State Championship victory in 2023 while playing at Howard High School. Her size and scoring touch make her a formidable presence inside, capable of dominating on both offense and defense.

 

Yarnevich joins a stellar recruiting class that already boasts several highly-ranked players. Divine Bourrage, a 6-foot guard from Davenport, Iowa, is ranked as high as No. 7 by 247Sports, known for her dynamic ball-handling and scoring abilities. Bella Hines, a 5-foot-10 guard, is a multiple-time New Mexico Player of the Year, ranked as high as No. 24 by 247Sports.

 

ZaKiyah Johnson, a remarkably decorated Kentucky high school athlete, adds another layer of talent. With four Gatorade Kentucky Player of the Year awards and four Kentucky State Championships under her belt, Johnson’s ranking reaches as high as No. 4 by On3 and Prospects Nation. Rounding out the impressive quintet is Grace Knox, a 6-foot-3 forward from Las Vegas, Nevada. Knox, a three-time California State Champion and 2024 national champion with Etiwanda High School, boasts a versatile skillset and is ranked as high as No. 6 by ESPN.

 

With the addition of Yarnevich, LSU’s 2025 recruiting class solidifies its position as a powerhouse in women’s college basketball.
