Lady Vols Welcome Candace Parker, Receive $3 Million Donation

 

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The University of Tennessee Lady Volunteers basketball program made a significant announcement today, welcoming legendary WNBA star Candace Parker to Knoxville ahead of their upcoming game against Texas A&M. The event was further amplified by a momentous $3 million donation earmarked for the continued growth and success of the women’s basketball program.

 

Parker, widely considered one of the greatest women’s basketball players of all time, will be making a special appearance at Thompson-Boling Arena to support the Lady Vols. Her presence is expected to electrify the crowd and inspire the team as they prepare for a crucial SEC matchup.
