Orlando City SC has announced a major acquisition, agreeing to a $5.3 million deal for Brazilian forward Marcus Vinicius Oliveira Alencar, commonly known as Marcus, from Fluminense FC. The 22-year-old forward joins the Lions on a multi-year contract, marking a significant boost to Orlando’s attacking options as they aim to strengthen their squad for the upcoming MLS season.

Marcus has been a standout player for Fluminense, where he developed through the club’s youth system.
