ROSE BOWL BOUND! Ohio State Dominates Tennessee 42-17

Ohio State is heading to the Rose Bowl after an impressive 42-17 victory over Tennessee on Saturday. Quarterback Will Howard delivered a stellar performance, throwing for 311 yards and two touchdown passes, leading the Buckeyes to a decisive win.

The Ohio State offense was firing on all cylinders, with three different players finding the end zone twice. Wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. was a standout, catching one of Howard’s touchdown passes while also adding a rushing touchdown. Running back TreVeyon Henderson also contributed significantly, rushing for 107 yards and two touchdowns, including a dazzling 48-yard run that sealed the victory for the Buckeyes. Tight end Cade Stover was the third player to score twice, hauling in a touchdown reception and adding another on a 2-yard run.

Tennessee’s offense, while able to put up a fight, couldn’t keep pace with Ohio State’s explosive attack. Quarterback Joe Milton threw for 212 yards, but struggled with consistency throughout the game. The Vols had a promising start but were shut down in the second half as Ohio State’s defense took control.

Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel addressed the loss in the postgame press conference, acknowledging the team’s inability to capitalize on key moments. “We came out strong, but credit to Ohio State for their adjustments after halftime,” Heupel said. “We couldn’t get our offense into a rhythm, and our defense had a tough time handling their diverse attack. We missed opportunities to make plays when it mattered most.”

With this dominant performance, Ohio State has earned a spot in the prestigious Rose Bowl, where they will look to continue their championship hopes. Meanwhile, Tennessee will regroup as they aim to finish strong in their remaining games.
