Indiana Lands No. 1 Linebacker Prospect Miles Capers, Chooses Hoosiers Over Auburn, Syracuse, and Vanderbilt

Indiana football has scored a major victory in its recruiting efforts, securing a commitment from Miles Capers, the nation’s top linebacker prospect. The highly regarded defender made the announcement that he would join the Hoosiers, turning down offers from Auburn, Syracuse, and Vanderbilt in favor of a personal connection with Indiana’s coaching staff.

Capers, a 6’2″, 225-pound linebacker from  had been one of the most coveted recruits in the 2024 class. Throughout his recruitment, the four-star prospect was pursued by several powerhouse programs, including SEC contender Auburn and academically prestigious schools like Syracuse and Vanderbilt. However, it was Indiana’s unique, personal approach to recruitment that won Capers over.
