Missing 16-Year-Old Last Seen at Local Swimming Pool in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA — Authorities are actively searching for a 16-year-old boy who went missing after visiting a local swimming pool in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon. The boy, identified as Jason Lee, was last seen around 3 PM at the Silver Lake Pool, where he had been swimming with friends.
Witnesses reported that Jason was enjoying the day, but when his friends left the pool area, he did not return home. Concerned family members reported him missing later that evening after he failed to show up for dinner.
The Los Angeles Police Department has launched an extensive search operation, deploying officers to canvass the area surrounding the pool. Search dogs and drones have also been utilized in hopes of locating Jason. Family members are urging anyone with information to come forward.
“We just want him home safe,” said Jason’s mother, tearfully addressing the media. “He’s a good kid and we’re worried sick.”
Local residents are being asked to check their yards, garages, and nearby areas for any signs of the teenager. Community members have rallied together, organizing search parties to assist authorities.
Anyone with information about Jason’s whereabouts is urged to contact the LAPD or call the missing persons hotline. The search continues as friends and family remain hopeful for his safe return.
