Bowling Green, KY – Western Kentucky University quarterback TJ Finley has officially announced that the 2024 season will be his final year with the Hilltoppers. In a heartfelt statement released on social media, Finley expressed his gratitude for the support he has received throughout his journey.

“Playing at WKU has been an incredible experience, and I’m thankful for the opportunities I’ve had here,” Finley wrote. “After careful consideration, I’ve decided that this will be my last season. I want to give everything I have to my teammates, coaches, and the WKU community.”

Finley, a transfer from Auburn, made a significant impact last season, throwing for over 3,000 yards and leading the team to a bowl appearance. His decision to announce his final season comes as the team prepares for a competitive schedule ahead.
