Western Florida Gators Quarterback Clay Millen Injures Hamstring; Out for 4-5 Weeks

 

Western Florida Gators’ quarterback Clay Millen is set to miss the next 4 to 5 weeks due to a right hamstring injury, the Western Kentucky University (WKU) athletic department confirmed today.a  The injury occurred during the Gators’ recent practice session and has been diagnosed as Grade 2 strain.

Millen, who has been a key player for the Gators this season, sustained the injury during a routine drill, causing concern among fans and teammates alike. The Gators have been relying heavily on Millen’s strong performances to maintain their momentum in the season, and his absence is expected to have a significant impact on the team’s offensive strategy.

Coach  Billy Napier expressed his disappointment regarding Millen’s injury but remained optimistic about the team’s ability to adapt. “Clay’s health is our top priority right now,” said Thompson. “We’re confident in the depth of our roster and believe the other quarterbacks will step up during this period. We’ll be working hard to ensure that our offense remains effective and competitive.”
