KAWASAKI TEST RIDER BROC TICKLE RETURNS TO PRO MOTOCROSS AT REDBUD NATIONAL
This weekend at the RedBud National, Kawasaki test rider Broc Tickle will be competing in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship once again. Tickle did not compete in an AMA Supercross or Motocross event since the Salt Lake City 2 Supercross in 2021. This year, Maximus Vohland won Tickle’s national number, #20. Tickle will thus be #938 this coming weekend. When he raced for Monster Energy Yamaha at the Fox Raceway National season finale on October 10, 2020, it was his final Pro Motocross start. Tickle, who will compete in the RedBud National this weekend in the hopes of improving the race machine, has been assisting Jason Anderson and the team with testing the KX450SR race bike.
Broc Tickle, the Monster Energy Kawasaki Test Rider, is back at AMA Pro Motocross in Foothill Ranch, California. Test rider for Monster Energy® Kawasaki Broc Tickle will compete in a few rounds of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship beginning this weekend at the RedBud National in Buchanan, Michigan, his home state. In a competitive setting, Tickle will strive to improve the team’s KXTM450SR testing efforts.
Tickle, who had previously raced for Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki in 2011, finished with one victory, seven podiums, and nine Top 10 places. On his KXTM250, he also won the AMA Supercross 250 Western Region, marking his first career championship. Entering the Pro Motocross class, Tickle finished seventh in the championship standings after securing three Top 5 and seven Top 10 finishes. Later, for the 2012 Monster Energy Supercross season, he moved up to the 450 class and rode a KXTM450 built by Pro Circuit. Tickle finished ninth in the AMA Supercross championship and seven times in the Top 10 in the 450SX class. Before joining a new team, he finished fifth in the Pro Motocross championship after racking up nine Top 10 finishes, five Top 5 finishes, and four podiums.
Tickle rejoined the Monster Energy Kawasaki team as a test rider in the summer of 2021. Since then, he has contributed significantly to the development of the new KXTM450SR by offering the team his vast racing experience and technical know-how.
Tickle stated, “I’ve been testing for Monster Energy Kawasaki for the past few years.” “By lining up on the starting gate, we are elevating our testing and the team is always working hard to find the best settings for the KXTM450SR.” This is just one more measure in the team’s commitment to excellence as we strive to get the most out of our race bikes.

This weekend at RedBud, in his home state, Tickle will make his Pro Motocross comeback aboard the #938 KXTM450SR, which will be decked out in a patriotic D’Cor graphics kit. He will also be back in action at Budds Creek. The team is certain that having Tickle involved will yield insightful information and enhance the KXTM450SR’s performance under race conditions.
