There’s a motorcycle for every occasion, and cruisers do it best for effortlessly munching miles on the open road. The laid-back ergonomics and grunty engines allow you, the rider, to take it all in rather than see it all pass by in a blur. Sports bikes, ADVs, and nakeds all have their place, but none add up to being a “biker’s” motorcycle nearly as much as cruisers do. Picture a Ducati Panigale V4 loaded with luggage, cruising at the speed limit while going down an arrow-straight highway.

Now swap out the Panigale for pretty much any Harley or Indian of your choice, and you’ll come up with a mental image that makes much more sense. Cruisers made their mark on the riding community long ago, and it’s still an impression yet to be bettered.
