Caitlin Clark recently went to Instagram to share her transformation as a basketball player. Just like many young kids, the 2024 first overall pick dreamed of being on the professional stage, turning her passion into her job.
On her social media page, Clark posted a picture of herself wearing an Indiana Fever uniform next to her childhood photo with a basketball jersey. One thing never changed in the picture, the former Iowa Hawkeye standout has kept her signature headband by her side for years.
The same thin headband has been a trademark of the six-foot guard, keeping the sweat out while she torchers opposing teams on the basketball court.
Fans in the comment section were quick to point out Clark’s headband, sharing their reaction to the similarities on the post.
“Same hairdo and everything lol” said one fan.
“But the headband stays the same,” said another fan.
The younger version of Clark would be proud of what would have accomplshed in the future. She leads all rookies with 16.1 points and 6.2 assists, just months after leaving college as the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer.
