NBA playoffs: Pacers’ Tyrese Haliburton will not play in crucial Game 3 vs. Celtics

Haliburton left Game 2 in the third quarter with a hamstring injury

Tyrese Haliburton, a point guard for the Indiana Pacers, will not play in Saturday’s Game 3 against the Boston Celtics, as reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Following his exit from Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals in the third quarter, Haliburton is experiencing soreness in his left hamstring. Game 3 of the series takes place tonight at Gainbridge Fieldhouse (8:30 p.m. ET, ABC) with the Pacers trailing 2-0 in the series.

Before Game 4, the team will reevaluate Haliburton to see how he will feel on Monday.

Haliburton had been experiencing some pain or discomfort earlier in the game, but the play where he came out didn’t appear to be too rough. After the game, Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle told reporters that Haliburton attempted to play through a sore hamstring at halftime.
