“3 for 3” in Philadelphia. That is how Bryce Harper, an outfielder for the Philadelphia Phillies, and his wife Kayla Harper revealed that they are expecting their third child together.

The happy news was shared by the couple on Instagram. The adorable photo of the two cuddling up on Instagram showed Bryce holding Kayla’s growing baby bump and kissing her forehead.

They included a heart emoji in the caption, “3 for 3,” which seemed to allude to the irony between his jersey number and his impending fatherhood of three children.

Since 2016, the right fielder for the Phillies has been wed to Kayla, his high school sweetheart.

Son Krew Aron was born in August 2019 and daughter Brooklyn Elizabeth was born in November 2020 to the MLB couple.

In the Instagram pregnancy announcement carousel, the two children could be seen clutching sonogram pictures.

Two days before Thursday’s Phillies home opener, the happy news was announced.
