Matthew Stafford didn’t put up huge numbers last season, throwing for 3,965 yards and 24 touchdowns with 11 interceptions. That was in 15 starts, missing one game due to a thumb injury and another when the Rams rested their starters in Week 18. He also sat out half of the team’s Week 8 loss to the Cowboys, which is when the thumb injury occurred.
Even though his stats weren’t much to write home about, it was a terrific season for the veteran quarterback – especially after he missed eight games in 2022 and was limited to 10 touchdown passes.
Heading into the 2024 campaign, Stafford is once again fully healthy and poised to pick up where he left off last season when he finished eighth in MVP voting. That being said, oddsmakers don’t expect him to blow anyone away with league-leading numbers.
