Philadelphia Eagles may be considering a move this offseason, including Pro Bowl linebacker Haason Reddick.

James Bradberry, the cornerback, experienced a significant decline in 2023 due to a crucial holding penalty in Super Bowl LVII, which cost Philadelphia the game. The Eagles signed him to a three-year, $38 million contract extension shortly after.

The Eagles’ secondary struggles were a significant issue in last season, with Bradberry leading the team in passing touchdowns allowed and yards allowed per game. Bradberry’s underwhelming 54.7 PFF grade in coverage and 54 combined tackles in 16 games were the first time he didn’t finish the year with multiple picks since 2018. The Eagles need a starting cornerback and could potentially move on from the 2020 Pro Bowler as new defensive coordinator Vic Fangio aims to rebuild the unit after a disappointing campaign. The team’s struggles have created a need for a starting cornerback.

Trade talks continue, causing the deadline to pay Haason Reddick’s roster bonus to be pushed back.

Eagles edge rusher Haason Reddick has been pushed back to April 1 to pay a $1 million roster bonus due on March 15. This move allows the Eagles more time to find a trade partner before the bonus is paid. Reddick’s agreement to the bonus suggests he is open to a trade. Multiple teams have shown interest in trading for him, but the cap hit for the team acquiring him is a separate question. Reddick started every game last year, was chosen to the Pro Bowl, and has double-digit sacks for four consecutive seasons.
