After an exciting 78 days in the house, South African Khosi has been crowned the winner of Big Brother Titans’ first season housemate. The $100,000 grand prize was the ultimate objective for every competitor, but only one could win.
When Ipeleng first gained the absolute veto power, it meant that she would be on the show all the way through. But she was the first finalist out, so the battle heated up after her departure. Ebubu was the next to say goodbye, as Ipeleng had chosen her to accompany her in the big finale.
The tension increased with Yvonne’s departure and the high stakes. As Tsatsii, Kanaga Jr., and Khosi were the only contestants remaining, the rivalry for the big prize was fierce.
Tsatsii was disappointed to see the $100,000 prize slip out of her hands when program host Lawrence Maleka, a Mzansi, made his way into the home to reveal the next contender to go. When it came down to Khosi and Kanaga Jr., the competition was fiercely competitive, which made the housemates and spectators anxiously awaited the outcome.
Finally, the Nigerian host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, entered the house and gave the finalists a last tour of the place where they had lived for the previous eleven weeks. For the inaugural season of Big Brother Titans, all the lights were turned out, including those in the kitchen, bathroom, and lounge.
When the performers returned to the stage, the audience was holding its breath, waiting for the moment to come when the show’s eventual winner would be revealed. Their excitement was contagious for the top two housemates. They shook hands and danced with the audience.
