Due to a calf injury, Nathan Cleary was forced to miss Friday’s Indigenous All Stars match in Townsville.

“I still might be involved if they want to have me and I’ll go in and see the boys.”

A persistent groin issue will also prevent Broncos five-eighth Ezra Mam from playing for the Indigenous All Stars.

Mam said, “I just had to manage my load a bit,” this week during a press conference to reveal his new five-year contract with the Broncos.

It’s only a minor ache in my lower abdomen. It’s not that serious, honestly.

“I will be back on the field at the end of the week.”
