When NRL supporters discover they can get tickets for the preliminary final for free, they are exploding.
After buying tickets for Friday night’s preliminary final, NRL fans are going crazy when they learn that those who didn’t buy in advance will get free entrance in an effort to fill Accor Stadium to half capacity. In an attempt to fill seats with as many bums as possible late in the week, the NRL announced a choice of cut-price gifts as the Penrith-Melbourne shootout was about to draw an extremely low number of spectators.
Members of Accor Stadium received two-for-one tickets, and those who purchased passes through booking agents online were able to enter for free.
