Most Likely Not To Be The Only All-Star for The Boston Celtics Is Jayson Tatum

The Boston Celtics did what they have done most of the season to celebrate Jayson Tatum’s selection as a starter for the All-Star Game for the fourth time in a row: they won. Since they were playing the Miami Heat, who eliminated them from the Eastern Conference finals the previous season, this lopsided victory (143-110) held greater significance than usual.

Despite the fact that the Celtics shot an incredible 63.7% throughout the game, there was at least one concerning moment when center Kristaps Porzingis hurt his ankle in the second half. Depending on how long Porzingis’s injury keeps him out, it may or may not affect the 35-10 Celtics’ pursuit of the top record in the East. After the game, he seemed good, but ankle injuries are unpredictable. It wouldn’t be unexpected if

HeJaylen Brown, his longtime sidekick, came in fourth in the Eastern Conference frontcourt vote. His averages of 23.1 points and 5.2 rebounds show that he has become more adept at handling the ball than in previous seasons. It would be disrespectful for the NBA coaches to declare that the Celtics only deserve one All-Star player, given that they have the best record in the whole league. Anticipate him to be selected without much discussion for the reserve team.

Next Thursday, prior of the Celtics’ next nationally televised rivalry game, the All-Star reserves will be revealed. They will play the Los Angeles Lakers at home this time, and even though the Denver Nuggets recently snapped their 20-game winning run, Boston should be the favorite.

It remains to be seen if guard Derrick White will play in his first All-Star Game, with Brown almost a certain. Even while the team has been traveling, White’s campaign has gained significant attention from NBA fans. As the Celtics defeated the Spurs 134-101 to start the new year, visiting Celtics supporters erupted with cries of “White’s an All-Star.”

It is quite likely that White’s previous colleagues would concur. According to Jay King of The Athletic,
