On Monday, January 22, Joe Tansey of Bleacher Report proposed a number of free-agent additions for Cleveland in the upcoming months, including Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Devin White.

“The Browns could use an extra defensive back that is a dependable tackler and can pursue the opposing quarterback.” That also applies to Devin White and Nicholas Morrow of the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Tansey. “The Browns must negotiate the second and third tiers of free agents at specific positions to strengthen their defensive depth because they won’t pursue the top free agents unless they can offload a ton of money.”
