Chris Simms, a former NFL quarterback and football analyst for NBC Sports, wasn’t shy about criticizing the Cleveland Browns for how they treated Baker Mayfield while he was a player. Simms recently voiced his contempt for the Browns’ handling of Mayfield’s injury and their attempts to replace him with Deshaun Watson in an interview with the New York Post.

When Mayfield discovered via social media that the Browns had met with Watson following their initial failure to sign him, the issue became more heated.
