Ronnie O’Sullivan was at his best, sweeping over Ding Junhui to face Judd Trump in the World Grand Prix final

O’Sullivan scored four century breaks in the match, 135, 128, 128 and 124, to defeat Ding and go to his 63rd career final. Trump defeated Cao Yupeng 6-2 in the tournament’s other semifinal.

Ronnie O’Sullivan scored four century breaks in a stunning performance to defeat Ding Junhui and advance to the 2024 World Grand Prix final.
O’Sullivan has spoken pessimistic about his game this week, saying he is “not enjoying” snooker at the moment.
However, his attitude may have improved after delivering perhaps his finest performance of the season to defeat Ding and go to the final against Judd Trump.

O’Sullivan, who has now won 13 matches in a succession, began with a 135-run break before adding three more centuries – 128, 128 and 124 – to win in just over 70 minutes.
“Almost like the Matrix,” former world No. 6 Alan McManus told ITV.
“He sees an image, and it will all come together. I do not know how he does it. “It was perfect from shot one to the end.”
O’Sullivan stated that his performance was “up there” with the greatest of his career.
“I felt alright tonight, I felt comfortable and tidy,” he told British television station ITV.

O’Sullivan barely gave Ding a chance in a one-sided semi-final.
Ding tied the game with an 85-yard burst in the second quarter, but he only scored 68 points the rest of the way.
O’Sullivan hit a 128 to reclaim his lead, followed by breaks of 79 and 90 to extend it even more.
Ding was unable to recover as O’Sullivan extended his hot streak with two more century to seal the victory.
