Cleveland Browns’ David Njoku Added to Injury Report Following Burn Injuries in Household Accident.

The NFL star’s agent, Malki Kawa, stated that the tight end is “OK” after the incident on Friday night.

David Njoku was added to the Cleveland Browns’ injury list for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.

The 27-year-old tight end was labeled as doubtful on the report “after sustaining burn injuries to his face and arm during a household accident,” according to a team website update on Saturday.

ESPN said that the injuries occurred as Njoku was attempting to start a fire pit in his backyard on Friday night.

His agent, Malki Kawa, provided a quick update on the NFL player on X (previously known as Twitter) Saturday, acknowledging the outpouring of concern and support for his client.

“Thank you everyone for reaching out, but David Njoku is ok, thank God,” he said in an email.

With Njoku’s condition questionable, the Browns activated tight end Zaire Mitchell-Paden off their practice squad to replace him if he is unable to play, according to the team’s report.
