According to rumors from Portugal, Wolverhampton Wanderers is among the teams interested in Petar Musa, a striker for Benfica.

Newspaper Record is reporting the player’s race today, citing Italian writer Gianluca Di Marzio’s accusations that Genoa is attempting to sign him.

The site then adds some of its own details and states that the 25-year-old is attracting interest from other teams, including Wolves, Bologna, and Midtjylland.

Musa has made 23 appearances for Benfica this season, with two assists and six goals. However, it is anticipated that he may play less now that Marcos Leonardo joined the team from Santos this month.

It’s rumored in Italy that Genoa is offering a loan with a buyout clause that kicks in once goals are scored, although the exact amount of that condition is still up for debate.
Therefore, Wolves would best prepare something intriguing to offer if they truly want to win that race. Given their strong ties in Portugal, the Molineux team may easily initiate contact with Benfica to discuss the possibilities.
