Matheus Cunha, a forward for Wolves, has praised manager Gary O’Neil, calling the new manager an amazing individual who is bringing out the best in him and his colleagues.

After his first loan move from Atletico Madrid was converted into a permanent £35 million swap, the 24-year-old Brazilian has nearly completed a year at Molineux. Cunha has witnessed a tumultuous turnover of managers throughout his tenure with the team, as well as Wolves’ struggle to finish last in the league.

However, Pau Torres, the Villans’ center back, equalized the score seconds later, allowing them to reply.

Despite Mario Lemina’s dismissal during stoppage time for a second yellow card, Wolves managed to hold on for a crucial point. They begin the international break ranked 14th in the table as a consequence of the outcome.

Cunha told the team’s media outlets, “It’s great,” adding that he feels like he and the team are beginning to gel under his new boss. He arrived at a really difficult period when there were more questions than answers, and he performed a good job of managing things.

“Now that he’s gradually shaping the club into his likeness, I think he’s a man who wants to see everyone succeed.

He’s an amazing guy who, in my opinion, is much more than just a manager and is always attempting to

“I spend a lot of time with the French gang,” Molineux says, swiftly quelling any rumors of unhappiness in the dressing room. I’m extremely good friends with the boys. Rayan [Ait-Nouri] and Mario [Lemina] are two people I constantly make jokes with, but Joao [Gomes] is Brazilian like me, so I always end up making fun of him.

However, I believe that I’m a guy that gets along with everyone since I can speak a lot of languages, joke about with everyone, and

“I’m the guy that hangs out with all the gangs—the South American, Latin, and French ones—and I’ve been hanging out with the English group to see if I can pick up some English. The Portuguese guys are also amazing. I’m not a member of a single gang.

Cunha has always dreamed of playing in the Premier League, where he believes he is not only furthering his own development but also that of the club. O’Neill’s team’s performance against Man City shown to everyone their potential, and the attacker is optimistic about their future.

make them laugh.

“It’s a very pleasing experience. For me, it was a choice. This was the best path I could take and my expectations are high.

“I think we have a great team, as shown in the game against Manchester City. Against Man United, we also played very well, and even against Liverpool.

“Personally, I want to accomplish something big but, of course, putting my personal objectives in service of the team, because the team is the most important and the way to go is together. Together, we can leave a mark in this club.”
