Liverpool is in talks to sign a defender after suffering two injuries.
Owen Beck is presently on loan from Liverpool to Dundee.
Tony Docherty, the manager of Dundee, has indicated that conversations concerning the future of Owen Beck are taking place with Liverpool.

The left-back has dominated the Scottish Premiership in the first half of the season, and his performances have earned him a place in Wales’ entire squad. However, due to injuries at Anfield, there has been conjecture that the 21-year-old could be recalled.

Andy Robertson is out of surgery after dislocating his shoulder during the international break after colliding with Spain goalkeeper Unai Simon. During Saturday’s match with Arsenal, Kostas Tsimikas sustained a probable broken collarbone.

Dundee are now sixth in the Scottish Premiership, and Docherty, speaking to the Daily Record before Beck’s injury, expressed hope that Beck would not be returning to Anfield next month.

“We’re still talking right now,” he remarked. It is a key milestone for these young talents, such as Mal (Boateng). They have access to regular football.

“They’re also rising through the ranks, playing in a prestigious league and gaining exposure.” They’re playing really good teams against pretty good players in really good stadiums.

“There is also television exposure, which are all big pluses for the upcoming team.” They are all doing well. All of their parent clubs have positive relationships with them.

“We are in constant communication to ensure that we are properly looking after their players.”

“Down in England, it’s Saturday/Tuesday, and up here, there’s more time to train and develop them.”

“In terms of Owen, we’ve had him in the gym to help him physically develop.” It’s another factor, and you really have to pull out all the stops to attract this level of gamer.

“They must, or they would not have sent them up.” So far, Dundee FC has had a fantastic season, which we are very pleased with. It is not something we take lightly.

“You must commit to the parent club and deliver on what you promise.” Hopefully, we’ve been doing that, and you can see the players’ progress. It benefits us, but it needs to benefit the parent club as well.”
