Leeds United Player Is Expected To Leave Elland Road Following Medical

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Leeds United prospect Finlay Gorman is set to sign for Manchester City next month after passing a medical.

The 15-year-old has played in five games for Leeds Under-18s after being promoted to the team in September of this year.

Gorman is an aggressive midfielder who has already contributed three goals, demonstrating his ability to score goals in the final third of the pitch.

The Premier League champions have been keeping a close eye on the promising Leeds talent for some time.

The two teams have agreed on a cost, which is reportedly in the seven figures, and Gorman is now getting closer to moving to Manchester.

Now that Gorman has passed his Manchester medical exam, the teenager appears to be in good health.

In January, the Cityzens will formally announce Gorman’s departure.

Sam Fagbemi, the chief young scout for Manchester City, and Thomas Kruecken, the academy manager, have been instrumental in getting the team over the finish line.

Gorman’s departure is a blow for Leeds, but it’s unclear what add-ons they were able to get in the transaction that might bring in more money in the future.

Until he turns 17 in 2025, the midfield player is unable to sign a professional deal.
