Tyson Helton to Depart as Head Coach of Western Kentucky Hilltoppers
Bowling Green, KY – Western Kentucky University has announced that head football coach Tyson Helton will step down at the end of his contract following the conclusion of the current season. Helton’s departure marks the end of a notable chapter for the Hilltoppers, who saw significant achievements under his leadership.
Helton, who took over as head coach in 2019, guided the team to multiple bowl appearances and established a reputation for a high-octane offense.
