Dundalk Football Club Announces Departure of Five Players at Season’s End

Dundalk Football Club has officially confirmed that five players will be leaving the club at the conclusion of the current season. This announcement marks a significant transition for the team as they look to rebuild and strengthen their squad for the upcoming campaign.

The club revealed that experienced midfielder Chris Shields, along with defenders Dan Cleary and Sean Gannon, are among those departing. Shields, a pivotal figure in Dundalk’s midfield for several years, has been instrumental in the club’s success, contributing both leadership and skill on the pitch. Cleary and Gannon have also been key players, known for their defensive prowess and ability to contribute to the team’s attacking play.
