Message From Andrew Berry Regarding Browns’ Early Playoff Exit

Andrew Berry, general manager of the Cleveland Browns, had his news conference on Monday to wrap up the season.

Berry gave supporters some food for thought this offseason, though nothing really shocking was mentioned.

Whether head coach Kevin Stefanski will remain the offensive coordinator for the Browns is one of those issues.

According to this tweet from Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, Berry stated that Stefanski would ultimately make the choice and that it will rely on how the staff works out.

“It’s one of his strengths,” says Browns general manager Andrew Berry when asked if Kevin Stefanski will call plays. “Part of that depends on where we land with the staff.” He claims that Stefanski made the choice.

The season was good for the Cleveland Browns overall.

Of course, the end turned out far differently than they had hoped, but after the roster sustained that difficult run of injuries, the strategy had to be adjusted along the road.

Although the Houston Texans should have received far more credit for winning that wild card game, the team’s loss would have been the same if it had fallen by just one score or in any other manner.

He said on Monday that the squad picked a poor day to have a horrible day, but he was still happy with how things worked out, so supporters shouldn’t anticipate a significant roster change (via 92.3 The Fan on Twitter).

That’s reasonable.

A week before to the regular-season finale, the Browns secured a postseason berth and advanced to that game with 11 victories.

They also accomplished that with a severely damaged offensive line and four different quarterbacks starting.

This promising season was ultimately doomed by self-inflicted wounds and dubious quarterback play in the season’s last game, but the squad performed admirably the most of the time and demonstrated their ability to compete with any club in the league.

No, the main goal is to build on this season and continue this momentum moving forward.

However, this squad will return to the postseason the following season, so now is not the time to set off the sirens or press the panic button.

Andrew Berry Issues A Firm Declaration Regarding Nick Chubb’s Prospects

Throughout the regular season, five quarterbacks stood out, setting up an unexpected playoff run.

However, nothing affected the Cleveland Browns’ offense more than the horrific knee injury suffered by Nick Chubb in Week 2.

It altered how teams defended against Kevin Stefanski’s attack and removed a much-feared X-factor.

According to reports, Chubb’s recuperation is doing nicely, and he plans to be prepared for training camp.

On Twitter, Camryn Justice of WEWS revealed that Andrew Berry appeared to be taking a risk with Chubb’s comeback.

#Browns Regarding Nick Chubb, Andrew Berry said, “Nobody wants to see that carry in Pittsburgh turn out to be his final carry for the Cleveland Browns.Of course, we’ll try to keep him on the squad.”
