Following its release on Culpo’s Instagram, a wedding photo quickly went viral. The picture showed the glowing pair with McCaffrey’s 49ers teammates Kyle Juszczyk and George Kittle in tow. But it was Greg Olsen who unintentionally turned into the focus.
Olsen intoxicated?
Olsen, who was standing behind McCaffrey in the photo, appeared a little messy and like she had indulged in the celebrations a little too much.
His disheveled hair, untucked shirt, and wrinkled collar gave the impression that he had overindulged during the festivities.
Many Olsen fans found his appearance relatable, comparing him to the fun-loving relative who always enjoys themselves a little too much at family weddings, rather than making fun of him.
It’s interesting to note that 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan attracted attention as well—for his unusually thick mustache, which he wore throughout the offseason rather than his actions.
Some theorized that Olsen, having been benched at FOX in favor of Tom Brady, might have been taking solace in alcohol.
There is prior experience between Olsen and McCaffrey as they were teammates on the Carolina Panthers from 2017 to 2019. Before joining the Seattle Seahawks in 2020, Olsen played for the Panthers for nine years, a substantial portion of his career.
