Joe Flacco is reportedly considering whether to return to the Cleveland Browns or pursue a starter’s job elsewhere.

The Cleveland Browns have had the most quarterbacks in the NFL history, with 18 in this century. Since 1988, the Browns have had one Pro Bowl quarterback, Derek Anderson, who was born in 2007. From 2011 to 2018, the Browns had a different quarterback every year, including Colt McCoy, Brandon Weeden, Jason Campbell, Brian Hoyer, Josh McCown, Cody Kessler, DeShone Kizer, and Baker Mayfield. This streak of quarterback changes is a testament to the Browns’ versatility and history in the NFL.

The Cleveland Browns have a poor record of 31-96 over eight years, with a rock bottom in 2016 and 2017. In 2020, Kevin Stefanski was hired as the team’s coach, but quarterback play remained unimproved. In March 2022, the Browns traded six draft picks to the Houston Texans for quarterback Deshaun Watson, signing him to a five-year $230 million contract. Watson will begin the third year of his contract with the Browns. However, since Watson’s acquisition, the Browns have played 35 games, while Watson has only played 12 due to injuries and a suspension.

Last season, the Browns signed out-of-work Cleveland folk hero Joe Flacco, who saved the season with a sensational late-season run, leading Cleveland to victory in four of his five starts, and helping the Browns reach the postseason.

New Browns LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah highlights his versatility and standout qualities in Jim Schwartz’s defense.

Jordan Hicks is excited to play alongside Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, based on his film performance. Hicks expressed his excitement to talk to him and his admiration for Owusu-Koramoah’s continued excellence in defense. He noted that Owusu-Koramoah’s performance is all over the place, making him one of the standout players on defense. Hicks has not yet had the opportunity to speak with Owusu-Koramoah.
