Racine Native, LaTonya Sims, Makes $3 Million Donation to Wisconsin Badgers Women’s Basketball

 

MADISON, WI – LaTonya Sims, a Wisconsin basketball legend and Racine native, has pledged a remarkable $3 million donation to support the Wisconsin Badgers women’s basketball program. Sims, a standout player from 1997-2001, etched her name into Wisconsin basketball history as the state’s first multiple Parade first-team All-American, earning both Gatorade and AP state player of the year honors. Her collegiate career was a testament to her exceptional talent and unwavering dedication, contributing significantly to the success of some of the most dominant teams in Badger history.
