Gabriel, who has not played with an NBA team this season, previously played with the Wisconsin Herd and the Los Angeles Lakers. The Grizzlies are known for signing 10-day contracts.
Wenyen Gabriel, who averaged 5.5 points and 4.2 rebounds in 68 games with the Lakers last season, is expected to bring hustle to the Memphis Grizzlies.
