Kim Caldwell’s entire Lady Vols 2025 class among McDonald’s All-American game nominees

The five signees make up the No. 2 signing class in the country, which is the highest-ranking high school recruiting class at Tennessee in seven years.

They are also only the second class since Pat Summitt coached Tennessee to have three players ranked in the top 35. In ESPN’s top 100 rankings, Mia Pauldo is No. 11, Prawl is No. 14, Civil is No. 32, Hurst is No. 42 and Mya Pauldo is No. 56.

Tennessee has not signed a McDonald’s All-American out of high school since Justine Pissott in 2022, although multiple McDonald’s All-Americans have transferred in like Rickea Jackson, Jillian Hollingshead, Talaysia Cooper and Ruby Whitehorn.

Before 2022, the Lady Vols hadn’t signed a high school McDonald’s All-American since Jordan Horston in 2019. The last time Tennessee signed multiple McDonald’s All-Americans out of high school was its 2018 class, which included three (Mimi Collins, Jazmine Massengill, Zaay Green).

Mia and Mya Pauldo, who are listed at 5-foot-6, play for Morris Catholic High School in New Jersey. Mia, a five-star recruit, was named the 2023-24 New Jersey MaxPreps Player of the Year.

Prawl is a five-star prospect out of IMG Academy. The 6-2 wing has experience playing for the Canadian youth national teams, most recently at the FIBA U17 World Cup last summer.

Civil is a four-star guard from Vero Beach, Florida. Civil, 6-0, has played as a point guard since transferring to Palm Bay Magnet before her junior season.

Hurst is a four-star recruit from Cleveland, Tennessee. The 6-3 guard plans to play both basketball and volleyball in college and has been named Gatorade Player of the Year in Tennessee for volleyball the last three seasons.
