Browns Players Sing Kevin Stefanski's Praises After Win Over Jaguars - Sports Illustrated Cleveland Browns News, Analysis and MoreBias has returned: Browns projected to regress in 2024 for implausible reasons

As they did in 2023 prior to their 11-6 record, the Cleveland Browns are expected to perform poorly in 2024.
Things remain the same more often than they change. The Cleveland Browns, who finished the 2023 season with an 11-6 record after overcoming several challenges, are still undervalued by the national media.

When Will Brinson of CBS Sports projected that the Browns will finish 7–10 in 2023, the same record as in 2022, Browns supporters became enraged. Brinson believed that the appointment of Jim Schwartz and the reinforcements to the defense would only produce one more victory. But Cleveland finished with the No. 5 seed, proving him incorrect.

As he assisted Myles Garrett in winning the NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award and took home the NFL Assistant Coach of the Year Award, Schwartz proved to be a brilliant acquisition. They were winning because of a strong squad that kept stepping up in the event of an injury rather than because of a single quarterback. Considering that they were the winners of the two most prestigious coaching awards, they also had an amazing coaching team.

The fact that Cleveland was playing excellently with Watson at quarterback is much worse than ignoring the coaching staff and the team’s superb roster. Despite Flacco receiving a lot of credit for his 4-1 record, Watson was really 5-1 while starting. Naturally, he

However, the storyline that he is merely ordinary and the Browns will regress is already beginning. There is bias, and it won’t go away. Fans of Cleveland, get ready for another lengthy (and often unpleasant) offseason.
