West Bromwich Albion Agree Deal to Exchange Tom Fellows for RCD Mallorca Player

West Bromwich Albion has confirmed a deal with Spanish side RCD Mallorca that will see young winger Tom Fellows make the move to La Liga, in exchange for a player from the Balearic club. The move, which is set to be finalized in the coming days, marks a significant step in both clubs’ efforts to reshape their squads for the upcoming season.

Fellows, 21, has been a standout prospect in West Brom’s academy, having made several appearances for the first team in the EFL Championship. While he has shown potential, his path to regular first-team football at the Hawthorns has been limited due to the club’s current squad depth. This agreement offers Fellows the opportunity to further develop in Spain, where Mallorca, under the guidance of manager Javier Aguirre, will provide a fresh challenge for the talented winger.

In return, West Brom will secure an undisclosed player from Mallorca, a move that is expected to strengthen their options in either the attacking or defensive areas. Although details of the player involved have yet to be revealed, it is understood that he is a versatile option who can contribute to the club’s ambitions of pushing for promotion back to the Premier League.

The exchange deal is a sign of both clubs’ commitment to player development and flexibility in the transfer market. For West Brom, the move is also a tactical decision to balance the needs of the squad with the long-term development of their academy talent. Mallorca, on the other hand, will be hoping that Fellows can adapt quickly to Spanish football and provide a new dynamic to their attacking lineup.

This agreement is the latest in a series of strategic moves by both clubs as they look to strengthen their squads ahead of the new season.
