*London, UK* – Legendary guitarist Brian May of Queen collapsed on stage during the band’s performance at the O2 Arena in London on Tuesday night, sending fans into a frenzy of concern. May, who is 76, was performing alongside frontman Adam Lambert as part of Queen + Adam Lambert’s ongoing “Rhapsody Tour.”

The incident occurred midway through the concert when May appeared to lose his balance and collapsed in front of a stunned audience. Fans in the venue reported that he was initially helped to the ground by bandmates and crew members before being escorted offstage. The show was briefly halted as the remaining members of Queen, including Lambert, addressed the audience, assuring them that May was receiving medical attention.

Despite initial fears for his health, a statement released by Queen’s management confirmed that May had “suffered a brief medical incident” but was conscious and stable. The statement went on to reassure fans that the guitar legend was “being closely monitored and will be undergoing further tests.” The show was eventually rescheduled, with Queen announcing they would take a brief break before resuming the tour once May is cleared to perform again.

The 76-year-old guitarist has had a history of health scares, including heart surgery in 2018, but he has continued to tour and perform at a high level with Queen. The incident has raised concerns among fans, but the band has emphasized that May’s recovery is their priority.

Fans have flooded social media with messages of support for the rock icon, with many expressing their hope for a swift recovery. Queen’s next scheduled performance is set to take place in Glasgow on Thursday, though no official word has been given on whether May will return to the stage by then.
